rhKGF-2 (recombinant human keratinocyte growth factor 2) eye drops, one of the growth factor products developed by Professor Li Xiaokun (member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering) and his team over the past 30 years. It was approved by the National Medical Products Administration of China as a Category 1 innovative drug. rhKGF-2 eye drops is mainly used for the treatment of corneal abrasion, mild to moderate chemical burns, corneal surgery and poor postoperative wound healing, and xerophthalmia caused by corneal epithelial defects. Compared with its competitors on the market, rhKGF-2 eye drops can reduce the incidence of corneal neovascularization and post trauma corneal scarring. The product is packaged in single-dose without any preservative, and can be used in ophthalmic surgery. rhKGF-2 eye drops is the first of its kind to enter the market around the world.
