Liver Perfusion and Transportation Device

It is one of the world’s best portable liver perfusion and repair machine. Led by Professor Zheng Shusen and Professor Li Lanjuan, both members of Chinese Academy of Engineering, the research team designed an integrated system that provides continuous machine perfusion for liver transplantation. The device is able to automate precision preservation and repair of the liver ex-vivo by simultaneously controlling the parameters include temperature, flow rate, pressure and so on. The technology fills in the gap of organ repair and preservation in China. In 2018, the hepatic perfusion device was displayed together with other latest high-end medical devices to President Xi Jinping on an exhibition in the Boao Lecheng International.
