Announcement of 2022 China (Zhejiang)-Europe Life Sciences Innovation Fair
In 2022, the Health Commission of Zhejiang Province, under the support of the Embassy of China in Belgium and the Department of Foreign Affairs of Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government, hosted the China (Zhejiang)-Europe Life Sciences Innovation Fair(ZELSIF). ZELSIF aims at deepening international exchanges in life & health technology and industry, bridging collaborations between Chinese and European scientists and entrepreneurs in the life & health sector, and facilitating life & health technology transfer. ZELSIF partnered with Zhejiang Provincial Centre for Medical Science, Technology and Education Development, the Administration Committee of Zhejiang Hangzhou Future Science and Technology City, Leuven Health Technology Centre (Belgium), Hangzhou Office of the Business Development and Technology Transfer Corporation of Schleswig-Holstein (Germany), and Zhejiang Venture Capital Association. After preliminary, semi-final and final contests, ZELSIF has concluded with a total of 45 awarded projects, including two first prizes, three second prizes, ten third prizes and thirty winning prizes. In February 2023, a prize-awarding ceremony is to be held in Hangzhou for all prize winners. The organizing committee is planning a number of events so that the ceremony shall also be a privileged opportunity to meet with researchers, clinical professionals, investors and policy makers both from within and outside of China.
